Hyperconvergence has been a much sought-after technology among enterprises of all sizes for the past few years globally and in India.
Gartner predicts that the market for hyper converged integrated systems (HCIS) will reach nearly 5 billion USD by 2019, as the technology moves toward more mainstream use. By combining storage, computing and networking into a single system, HCI gives enterprises the ability to become agile in their operations and scale efficiently.

As an important part of the IT supply chain, it is the channel partners who will play a crucial role in making sure that innovative HCI solutions meet the demands of the ever-expanding enterprise needs.
ChannelWorld Premier 100 Special awards have been instituted since their inception in 2009 to recognize extraordinary achievements among the Premier100 winners in specific enterprise IT domains such as security, storage, cloud and datacenter. This year ChannelWorld introduces a new category of special award — Hyperconverged Infrastructure — in association with Nutanix.
'Hyperconverged Infrastructure' Special Award at Premier100
The five award winners for HCI special award have been selected after a comprehensive review of Premier100 winners based on their HCI projects, their financial growth, the contribution of HCI to overall revenue during the last fiscal year and their USPs as a solutions provider in new-age technologies.
“Enterprises of all sizes, across all industries, are embracing our pioneering HCI solution as a fundamental element of their multi-cloud architectures. This would not have been possible without our channel partners. It is our privilege to be presenting the ‘Hyperconverged Infrastructure Partner Awards’ this year, to express our gratitude towards all our partners for being a part of this exciting journey with us,” says Sunil Mahale, VP & MD, Nutanix India.
The award winners for this special award have been picked up after a comprehensive review of Premier100 winners being stacked against each other's nomination. Channel companies for this category were reviewed by IDG editors based on their challenging hyperconverged infrastructure projects, their financial growth, the contribution of HCI to their overall revenue during the last fiscal year and their USPs as a solutions provider in new-age technologies.
The five winners of the Premier 100 HCI Special Award will be the torch bearers of the hyperconverged infrastructure in India’s enterprise IT channel ecosystem for successfully helping customers on their digital transformation journey. The names of the winners will be announced at the tenth edition of Premier 100 Awards & Symposium on May 18, 2018.
