Dalip Arora appointed COO at Sea Infonet

Dalip will lead pan India operations for IT value added national distributor Sea Infonet.

Dalip Arora has been appointed as COO at Sea Infonet, a pan-India VAD that works with various enterprise technology OEMs including security MNCs. 
    
“Dalip has come on board from July’18 as company’s COO. He will be handling PAN India Operations across all brands that we distribute. Dalip would also be pivotal for any business alliances we take up,” confirmed Biswajeet Saha, CEO, Sea Infonet in an exclusive interaction with ChannelWorld India.

Dalip would operate out of Sea Infonet’s corporate office in New Delhi. He has been appointed in the position previously held by Ajay Joshi who quit in April this year, informs Biswajeet.

Sea Infonet is value added national distributor with their own TAC for some of their technology OEMs’ alliances. “We are associated with Kaspersky, Data Resolve, Cybonet, Khika, Tacitine and Deep Identity. Acronis and Stormshield have been our very recent tie-ups,” said Biswajeet.

Talking on his new role; Dalip Arora, COO, Sea Infonet said, “I am very excited to be part of the organization that still values the culture of “VAD” and works as a technology enabler in the true sense.”

Sea Infonet had recent tie-ups with Acronis and Stormshield in the IT security space. We have started operating from 14 cities today as compared to 8 cities in the beginning of 2018.

Elaborating on the technology trends and market opportunity in India in 2018 and beyond; Biswajeet says, “India has opened up to a Sea of IT security opportunities due to GDPR, RBI, GOI and such other guidelines which have come up in the recent past. Every aspect of IT security finds a place in the industry today and moreover with the opening up of the economy to foreign players more Indian companies are competing with global players which should be an exciting race for us.”

Sea Infonet has offices in six Indian cities encompassing a 50 people strong team. “We have a dealer network of 650 plus partners spread across 45 small and big cities across India. We are growing at about 20% YoY on an average and have our goals set at 50% for the current fiscal,” says Biswajeet.

Dalip’s key priorities this year as COO of Sea Infonet includes to sign new alliances with technology OEMs. “I will also streamline the team structure and policies in place to handle the business requirements for our OEM’s and channel partners,” he says.
