Ritesh Syal appointed India channel chief at Oracle

Ritesh Syal is the new India channel chief at Oracle. His designation will be Director and Head - Alliances & Channels at Oracle India.

Ritesh takes over the reins to lead channel business for India from Srikanth Doranadula who recently moved to a different role at Oracle. After growing Oracle’s channel ecosystem in India for a decade, Srikanth Doranadula will lead the server and storage business for the tech giant.

Ritesh Syal has taken over as the new channel chief for Oracle India with effect from June 2018 and he will be based in Bengaluru, confirmed the official statement from Oracle exclusively to ChannelWorld India.

Ritesh’s new KRAs include continuing to support the India business leadership team by developing and enhancing a strong and capable partner ecosystem to drive for success. Ritesh is also a part of the regional senior leadership team.

This is Ritesh’s second stint in Oracle as he has been leading the indirect channel business for Oracle Cloud Platform in India for over three years. In his prior role, he was responsible to grow indirect channel business with large SI partners.

In his first stint at Oracle from 2007 to 2011 Ritesh was channel sales manager and later key partner director for global SIs. He joined back Oracle in 2015 from SAP where he was national business manager for over three years.

Ritesh has extensive experience in Alliances and Channels, Public Sector and BFSI with various organizations like Wipro, HCL, EMC and SAP India. He also has hands-on experience across the entire Oracle stack with Apps, Tech Infrastructure and Hardware. He has led Oracle cloud platform’s partner ecosystem transformation and has built a solid foundation for a set of managed partners with good capability for selling and implementing Oracle cloud platform services.
